How do I make a video?
Accepted videos can be from a variety of sources, ranging from a cell phone camera or webcam, to a studio-produced video. The movie can be uploaded as it was shot, or it can be edited in a movie-making software such as iMovie or Windows Movie Maker. The file will need to be uploaded from your computer.
How do I upload a video to AuditChannel.tv
First, you will need to register at AuditChannel.tv and log into your account. Begin the uploading process by clicking the “Upload” tab located at the top of the page. Next, you will enter the title, description, and tags for your video file. You can select up to three topic-based channels to categorize you r video.
Once the above information is entered, click “Submit.” The next screen will allow you to “Browse” to your selected file on your computer. Alternatively, you may click “Embed” and provide a link to a video that is already posted online.
What are the supported Audit Channel.tv file formats?
AuditChannel.tv supports the following video formats: avi, flv, mpeg, wmv, mov, 3gp, mp4, and mpg.
Is there a maximum video size for uploading?
Yes, the maximum file size is 100 MB.
How long does it takes to upload a video?
The video upload time depends on the size of your video file, but generally, an upload takes only seconds. Upon upload, you will receive a link to view your video. Once uploaded, the video is then subject to approval by AuditChannel.tv.
How long does it take to process a video on Audit Channel?
Once a video is uploaded, it will be subject to review by The IIA. We value your content and strive to complete the approval process in a timely manner. AuditChannel.tv reserves the right to suspend videos that are defamatory, advertisements, not audit-related, or do not add value to the audit community.
How do I format tags?
Tags are keywords that describe content, and they are required in order to upload a video. You may submit multiple tags separated by spaces.
Does AuditChannel.tv have video submission guidelines?
The IIA’s Audit Channel is an online portal for the internal audit community to post video clips related to relevant internal audit issues. We value our users’ insights and ideas, but in order to maintain an atmosphere of productive dialogue, all videos posted to this site must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Use respectful language. No profanity, hate speech, or personal attacks are permitted. Criticism of video or comments are welcome, but such comments must be informed, constructive, and respectful.
- Videos must be commercial-free, not camouflaged advertisements for products, services, or websites. A video is considered promotional if it is geared toward selling a product or service. Videos of a promotional nature will be directed to the Audit Channel’s Sales Department for further contact regarding placement in the Partner Channel.
- Comments on videos must remain on topic. Keep comments relevant to the video or to previous comments.
- Videos will be reviewed for appropriate internal audit content that contributes to the education of the profession. A video submission may be rejected if it contains content that is inappropriate or inflammatory.
