Very interesting video. AuditNet® launched a survey on
this very topic and it appears that most auditors are
at the ad hoc level of maturity in leveraging
technology (audit software). This means that the
primary tool used by most auditors is Excel or
Microsoft Office. Only two areas where technology is
even at a planned stage (and that is not by more than
1/3 of auditors) is data analysis and audit workpapers.
